The Parliamentary sub-committee on internal affairs, security and defense of the House of Representatives met with defense minister Hon. Dr. Roble musa Abdi and his Director General Mr. Foosi Mohamed Farah.
The meeting called by the sub-committee was mainly an orientation brief since they have just taken over the office. They however duly exchanged pertinent information on their duties.
The Committee on Internal Affairs and Defense of the House of Representatives is in charge of issues related to the security and defense issues of the country.
This meeting was held in order to strengthen the cooperation between the two parties and how to coordinate with each other in the bolstering of the defense of the nation, something they vowed to uphold at the meeting.
