Danab Commandos backed by Jubaland Dervish forces conducted large scale and planned operation in Malaaley, Araare, Koban, Janaale and Reeynero settlements which lie on the banks of Jubba River in Lower Jubba region.
The planned operation targeted Al-Shabab positions in the settlements while the allied forces were vigilant and cooperative.
The Commanders who led the operation told that the troops dismantled Al-Shabab hideouts in which they used to plan attacks against the Somali populace.
The Somali National Army (SNA) and Jubaland troops pledged that they will continue the operations which are aimed to restore peace and eradicate Al-Shabab in order the local residents in Lower Jubba region to live a life that is devoid from terror and repression.
The fight against Al-Shabab commenced in South and Central Somalia and the operations target Al-Shabab hideouts in Somalia.
