Chairman of the Armed Forces says We will not sleep and allow Al-Shabab to takeover Somalia

The Chairman of Armed Forces Court, Major General Hassan Ali Nur alias Shuute, is currently in the frontlines and joined the fight against Al-Shabab militant group. Mr. Shute has paid an inspection visit to the Somali troops along with local forces in the frontlines in Middle Shabelle region. He delivered a speech which was aimed at boosting the moral of the gallant Somali troops as well as the local forces.

He has been stationed in the frontlines for the past month. He vowed that Al-Shabab extremists group will not succeed in their attempts to takeover districts in Middle Shabelle region. Shuute said: ” I swear in God that once the last person is alive, Al-Shabab will not govern the country. We will fight. We do not know where else to go. This is the only place we own in this world. We will not hand over the country to the al-Qaeda-linked terrorist group of Al-Shabab.” He took the arms in order to fight alongside with gallant Somali troops in the frontlines in Middle Shabelle region.

He said: ” We do not know where else to go. We will fight. We are waging the right Jihad. There is no other place to return. Somali troops and Al-Shabab will get to know each other during the confrontations. We are in the holy month of Ramadan. We are in winter and the heat is scorching. If we are killed in the fight, we will be martyrs. I urge those gallant soldiers who were injured during the battle to return to the frontlines once they recover.”

The Chairman delivered an encouraging speech to the Somali troops in the frontlines. He said that Al-Shabab was defeated in the war. He further added that the Somali troops are on the verge of a victory and those who are killed will be martyrs. He further recounted that those Al-Shabab fighters that are brought before the Armed Forces Court told him that Al-Shabab was defeated in the battle. He said Al-Shabab admitted the bravery of The Gorgor, the elite special forces trained by Türkiye for Somalia.
