Speaker of the House of Representatives Hon. Abdirizak Khalif Ahmed met with officials from the Crisis Group in his office.
The meeting was attended by Foreign Affairs Adviser Hassan Hiis and discussed the security and economic situation in the country.
Though an official statement was not issued after the meeting, a
message on Twitter by Speaker Hon. Abdirizak was as follows;
“I received in my office a delegation from the Crisis Group, which is visiting Somaliland. The main purpose of their visit to Somaliland was to gather information on the current political, social and environmental situation in the country.”
