Somaliland on Thursday reported 32 new coronavirus cases, bringing its total to 257, the health ministry said.
Five patients who contracted the virus have fully recovered from the disease. The total number of recovered people stands at 28.
An 84 years-old patient have succumbed to the complications arising from the deadly Covid-19 pandemic.
The death toll now stands at 18.
Out of the 32 new cases confirmed today, 21 are said to be males while 11 are females.
The newly confirmed patients live in Hargeisa, Borama and Burao.
The health ministry said that the ages of the new patients are between 19 to 89.
Somaliland put in place strict measures which are aimed to keep the deadly Covid*19 pandemic at bay.
