HARGEISA— The deputy president of the democratic republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Abdilahi Ismail alais “Sayli’i” has participated the commemoration of international women’s Day ceremony which is marked on the 8th of March across the globe on annual basis. The event which was highly organized saw also the attendance of sports minister, Mr. Boos Mire Mohamed and other invited guests. The minister who made speech at the event has underscored that women in the country has made a huge progress and said that they play a tremendous role in protecting and preserving the coexistence of Somaliland populace. The VP in a concluding speech has sent congratulatory message to all Somaliland women across the nation on the spacious occasion of 8th of March which is commemorated across the world.
