CAIRO– President of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo made unannounced visit to Egypt and arrived in Cairo on Sunday morning. This is the second time that the president paid a courtesy call to Egypt and he has been in Cairo just a week ago. According to president spokesman told in press briefing that Somalia leader is due to attend a conference that is to kick off tomorrow where the Arab League and the European Union (EU) will convene. The two sides will hold talks aimed at enhancing the cooperation in the areas of security and trade ties. The Somali president is also expected to hold meetings with dignitaries on the sidelines of the meeting. Somaliland delegation led by the deputy foreign minister wrapped working visit to Cairo and returned home yesterday.
