Somalia’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Ahmed Fiqi on Tuesday held phone talks with Serbian counterpart, Marko Djuric.
The talks between the two foreign ministers focused on enhancing the bilateral ties between the two countries in the areas of security, economy and technology.
Somalia and Serbia have been friendly relations for over 65 years as Somali reiterates its commitment to giving priority to long term friendships.
Ahmed Fiqi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somalia said: ” We will consolidate and enhance our mutual relations.”
On his side, Marko Djuric, praised the progress made in diplomacy and neutral politics by Somali gov’t in addressing conflicts in int’l forums.
Marko Djuric said: ” Somalia has always been a special friend to us and we believe we can do a lot together.”
