The Somali National Army (SNA), on Monday conducted anti-terrorism operation which led to the killing of Alshabab operative who was in charge of overseeing extorting money and reconnaissance for Beledul-Amin in Afgoye district.
The Alshabab operative by the name of Daud Mohamed Malele oversaw operations under the villages of Sabiid and Beledul-Amin.
He was responsible for collecting sakawat from the local farming communities.
He was killed in a coordinated attack by the gallant Somali troops.
The anti-terrorism operations underway are part of an ongoing efforts which are aimed to bolster security and flush out Alshabab remnants from Somalia.
