The Minister of Interior Hon. Mohamed Kahin Ahmed and the Director General of the Ministry Mr. Mohamed Yusuf Ismail, held a meeting with some of the councilors of six major electoral districts of the local councils.
The Minister and the MPs discussed on the cooperation between the Regional Councils and the ministry of Interior, working together on security and other pertinent issues.
Meetings have been going on in the last few days in the city of Hargeisa with some of the members of the constituencies, as to whether the Ministry of the Interior should be given permission to open the extraordinary sessions in which they can change their administrations.
It is expected that will make a decision on the matter would be made once the meeting draw to a close.
