Ethiopian PM, Abiy Ahmed will travel to Mogadishu in the days to come. Abiy is expected to hold high level meetings with Somalia’s President, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. A delegation consisting of Ethiopian gov’t officials arrived in Mogadishu in preparation for the upcoming visit of Ethiopian PM, Abiy Ahmed to Somalia. The delegation’s visit serves as an advance team to pave the way for Abiy’s reception to ensure all arrangements are in place for his arrival. The Ethiopian PM Abiy, Ahmed and Somalian President, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud will hold further discussions in order to expedite the implementation of Ankara accord. The discussion will focus on Somalia granting Ethiopia access to the sea.
