While neither side has commented on the purpose of the high-level visit, the two sides are expected to discuss the completion of previous agreements between the two countries on trade cooperation, custom tariffs, and the use of Ethiopian businesses. at the port of Berbera.

The arrival of the Ethiopian delegation comes at a time when a delegation led by the Minister of Energy and Minerals of Somaliland Hon. Abdilahi Abdi Farah has been meeting with his counterpart and other Ethiopian leaders in recent days in Addis Ababa.
