Asmara, 20 September 2018- Eritrea has attended at the Horn of Africa Women Forum conducted on 16 September in Vienna, Austria.
The Forum focusing on Women’s Empowerment and Development was organized by the Austrian ‘Universal Peace Federation (UPF)’, in cooperation with the Permanent Mission of Eritrea to the United Nations in Vienna and Horn of Africa Peace Initiative.
The Forum was attended by members of the Diplomatic Corps, investors, and representatives of the UN organs as well as invited guests from Eritrea, Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Kenya, Egypt and Austria.
At the forum experiences of women in Eritrea, Ethiopia and Sudan were presented and the participants conducted extensive discussion on the issues raised.
