Upon their arrival at Adden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu, they were greeted by officials from the Diaspora Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. These officials expressed their support and welcomed the citizens back home, emphasizing the government’s commitment to protecting the rights of Somali nationals stranded overseas. They also pledged to continue rescuing Somali nationals facing difficulties in foreign countries. The officials expressed gratitude to the Somali embassy in Sudan, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and the Sudanese government for their role in facilitating the release and repatriation of these individuals.
