Head of State participates graduation ceremony of 3rd batch of National Services Program

The President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi, yesterday concluded training for the third batch of the national service program at the Dararweyne training college in the northeast of Hargeisa, the capital of Somaliland.

The graduation ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including the Commanders of the Armed Forces, the Director of the National Service Program, members of the Cabinet, students along with their instructors and other members of the public. Several high ranking gov’t officials gave speeches to praise the hardworking young people who completed the training, while also emphasizing the importance of the national service program which was initiated by the president for the youth.

Prior to the start, the director of the national service program, Mr. Mohamed Hussein Mu’addin, who spoke there, explained in depth the efforts of the young people who graduated today and how they are proud to be part of the development of their country.

Similarly, a number of ministries who made various speeches on the occasion, congratulated and praised the fourth batch of the national work education, and urged them to carry out their duties to the best of their abilities.

His Excellency, President Muse Abdi, who gave a speech of encouragement and celebration to the young people who graduated today, first of all congratulated the young people who completed the training, and described it as gratifying that young intellectuals, armed with patriotism and skills, are graduating for the fourth time from the National Service Program.

Finally, the President, during his visit to Shaqo Qaran, inspected and inaugurated the new buildings added to Shaqo Qaran Academy, which include a reading center (library) and a fully equipped hospital.
