On Tuesday, the Director of Ethiopia’s National Intelligence and Security Service, Hon. Redwan Hussein, arrived in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia. According to reports, he held a meeting with his Somali counterpart, Hon. Mahad Mohamed Salad, and later met with Somali President, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. It has been reported that the top intelligence Director of Ethiopia delivered a message from Ethiopian Prime Minister, Hon. Abiy Ahmed, to the current Somali President, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. However, details of the message have not been disclosed by Villa Somali. Additionally, the Somali Spy Chief, who also met with his Ethiopian counterpart in Mogadishu, discussed ways to further strengthen the bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of security.
