Somaliland President H.E Musa Bihi Abdi received a high level parliamentary delegation from Kenya consisting of MP’s, investors and other important members. The high powered delegation is headed up by Junet Mohammed, Kenya National Assembly Minority leader. The delegation brought warm greetings from President Uhurru Kenyatta of Kenya and which is addressed to Somaliland President Musa Bihi Abdi. President Kenyatta has asked the Kenyan parliamentary delegation to pass salutation to his Somaliland counterpart. The Kenyan delegation visiting Somaliland follows high level delegations that the two countries have exchanged. The mission of the parliament delegation is to strengthen the cooperation in the areas of politics, trade and issues affecting the Horn of Africa region. President Bihi has received the delegation at the presidential palace and welcomed them with open arms. He has accepted the warm greetings passed by his Kenya counterpart, Uhurru Kenyatta. President Bihi reiterated that Somaliland is desirous to boost ties with Kenya. Bihi underscored that Kenya must play a huge role in the ongoing talks between Somalia & Somaliland as it is part of the IGAD body. Bihi sent a warm salutation to President Kenyatta. SL foreign minister along with the deputy FM accompanied the president whilst meeting with Kenyan parliament delegates.
