U.S. Africa Command (AFRICAOM) conducted an airstrike targeting Deash bases in areas nearby Miraale in Al-Miskaad Mountan Range in Bari region.
Reports indicate that the airstrike was intended to support the ground assault conducted by Puntland Security Forces who engaged in a heavy fighting with Deash terrorist fighters.
Initial reports say that the airstrike caused heavy casualties.
Puntland security forces also conducted operations to flush out Deash fighters from Buqa Sare, Xoomiso and Guryasamo which locate in Al-Miskaad Mountan range.
The security forces targeted a group of Deash fighters who were responsible for the terrorist group when it comes to landmine explosions.
Puntland security forces killed four Deash fighters and displayed their corpses who were responsible for the group regarding landmine explosions.
