Somaliland House of Representatives postponed on Tuesday holding any further sessions over fears related to viral Covid-19 disease. The opening of the 43rd session was scheduled to kick off on the 6th June, 2020. This was disclosed in a press release issued by the House of Reps. The decision to delay the parliamentary session was taken in regard with the preventive measures put in place by the ministry of health in a bid to protect the safety of lawmakers and other staffers at the parliament premises, a statement said. Somaliland ministers have tested positive for the deadly novel coronavirus as the virus is taking its toll in the country.
